Gather-N-Go: Activities

Opportunities to Serve Others!

The third Thursday of June and July we will meet at 4:00 at The Giving Tree lot (22nd street west of Swan, next to Checker Auto) to help serve dinner to families and people in need of a good meal and a friendly smile. You are welcome to bring a dish to share for the meal and your gently used clothing that someone might appreciate wearing!

Water from THE WELL

We are collecting water bottles to give to thirsty, homeless folks around Tucson. Every Summer many homeless people die of thirst and we want to help prevent that tragedy. Help us collect and serve water to those in need. Just bring cases of water to worship at THE WELL or drop them off during the week in Travis' office.

The mission of The Giving Tree Outreach Program, is to support and improve the quality of life for children, families, elderly and disabled individuals.  The Giving Tree is a faith-based organization committed to being an instrument in breaking the cycle of poverty, homelessness, and abuse in this community of disadvantaged and under-served individuals. This is accomplished through distribution of hot meals, food boxes, clothing, tutoring mentoring, transportation, referrals, and providing a residence for homeless and transitional children to allow them an opportunity to experience a secure and enduring family home.
